Giving Them Their Flowers:  An Art Show 

Featuring works commissioned by the Castro LGBTQ Cultural District.  “Living Lesbian Legends” by Tanya Wischerath & “Circle of Change” by Serge Gay Jr.  At Queer Arts Featured (QAF), 575 Castro St., Nov. 1, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025.  Curated by Tina Aguirre.  

The opening reception takes place on Friday November 1, 2024 at 6-8pm and you are invited!  

The District is proud that we have commissioned art that will be featured in an exhibition at QAF.  This exhibition centers lesbians and queer women who have played a significant role to the Castro and San Francisco.  Commissioning this art, creating art exhibitions, and installing murals in the neighborhood are aligned with our work to use racial, gender, and queer equity frameworks.  

QAF is open Thursdays-Saturday 12-7pm and Sundays 12-6pm.
